THE SITUATION
An international manufacturer and distributor of prestigious cosmetics and beauty products for high-end hotels is a long-standing client of Green Worldwide’s Miami warehouse.
The client recently secured a new hotel account which led to their first major time critical dispatch. The warehouse received 40’ containers, totaling 8,085 cases, organized into 490 pallets.
Each case had to be unpacked, scanned into inventory, and the orders needed to be correctly filled, prepped for shipment, loaded onto trucks, and shipped to both local and international destinations.
THE SOLUTION
The Green Worldwide Miami warehousing team devised and executed a project plan aligned with the client’s guidelines. Every pallet and case from the trucks was carefully unloaded, scanned into Green’s warehouse management system, organized, and prepared for shipping. Integration between Green Worldwide’s WMS and the client’s software gave the customer immediate inventory visibility.
