why go green?

Corporate supply chains have never been bigger or more complex. When done right – by taking into consideration the environmental, social and governance performance of suppliers – global supply chains deliver significant benefits to companies in the form of reduced costs and enhanced profitability and shareholder value.

Supply chain sustainability and responsible procurement are critical to achieving success as an extension of a company’s daily operations, products and services that can support the realities of our environment and better serve markets both today and in the future.

SO, WHY DO INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS RANK SUPPLY CHAIN AS THE GREATEST AREA OF CHALLENGE FOR IMPROVING SUSTAINABILITY PERFORMANCE?

Supply chains continue to be one of the most important levers for businesses to create a positive impact in the world – an estimated 80% of global trade passing through them annually.  Don’t leave yourself open to significant operational and reputational risks.

Carbon offsetting is when a company decides to purchase credits associated with environmental projects that reduce emissions of carbon dioxide (or other greenhouse gases) as a way of offsetting the company’s carbon emissions.

green tree initiative

A TREE DONATED FOR EVERY CUSTOMER, EVERY SHIPMENT, EVERY TIME?
THAT’S RIGHT.

Trees are habitat for biodiversity and create much of the planet’s oxygen.  They help combat climate change and play a large role in agroforestry and in helping farming families improve their land quality and productivity.  That’s why since 2019, Green has pledged to donate a tree for each and every single shipment we handle – at no extra cost to our customers!

WHY TREES?
