ACE MODERNIZATION SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently announced plans to modernize ACE Portal Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) features. The new features include new event tracking, postponing DIS vehicle export document submissions, and enforcement of tighter Type 86 entry deadlines, while offering enhanced document imaging system status notifications.

PHASED ACE PORTAL UPDATES

The phased implementation of these new features will launch according to the ACE development and deployment schedule:

April 13,2024

    • New capability to migrate all ACE Portal Periodic Monthly Statement (PMS) features to the new portal. This allows users to designate participants, activate participants, and schedule upcoming statements.
    • Tighter deadlines on filing Type 86 entries through automated enforcement.
    • Users will not be able to access PMS tools in the legacy ACE Portal after this date.

April 27, 2024 – New capability enables the system to send users a status update when a Document Imaging System submission is accepted or being reviewed.

May 14,2024 – This update adds four event types to help track changes in the status of Reconciliation flags on applicable entry summaries.

July 2024 – CBP pushed the target target date for DIS vehicle export document submissions to July. Updates pending.
