Green Worldwide Shipping Nominated for 2026 Sustainable Business Award
Green Worldwide Shipping is proud to announce that we have been nominated for a 2026 Sustainable Business Award by the Sustainable Business Council (SBC). These awards recognize organizations demonstrating leadership in creating business value through environmental stewardship, social responsibility, innovation, and sustainable business practices.

The Sustainable Business Awards celebrate organizations that are integrating sustainability into their business strategy, operations, products, services, and culture while delivering measurable impact and inspiring others through their leadership.
Green Worldwide Shipping was nominated in the Innovative Service category for GreenBox Consolidations. In 2025, Green Worldwide Shipping re-launched our weekly Hamburg-to- Savannah ocean consolidations as the first of our GreenBox Consolidations. For each GreenBox Consolidation, Green applies third-party certified zero emission fuel certificates to reduce shippers’ Scope 3 maritime transport emissions by more than 90% at no additional cost to them. The project shows shippers how they can take market-based action on Scope 3 transport emissions, including how to calculate and communicate the associated emission reductions. It demonstrates that “zero-emission ocean shipping” is an immediately achievable sustainability milestone using a mechanism that’s familiar from renewable energy certificates.

Award recipients will be announced during the 2026 Sustainable Business Awards Celebration on November 17, 2026, held in conjunction with the 19th Annual Sustainable Business Council Conference on November 18, 2026, in Madison, Wisconsin.
The conference theme, “Leveraging Partnerships for Momentum,” will explore how collaboration across organizations, industries, and communities can accelerate progress and create lasting business value.
