Since 2016 Green has participated in the UN Global Compact, world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. Green’s ongoing sustainability efforts have previously been described in annual Corporate Social Responsibility reports and UNGC Communications on Progress. This year’s expanded and deepened Sustainability Report reflects Green’s strengthened commitment to sustainable business practices that will lead positive change in the international transportation and logistics community.
Highlights of Green’s efforts detailed in the report include Green’s first full greenhouse gas emissions inventory; development and launch of the company’s human rights due diligence program; a double materiality assessment that determined the social and environmental topics most relevant and impactful to Green; and the many employee-focused initiatives that make Green a Great Place to Work.
