Katarina Moellering-Baratas (Kat) and Keyla Ahrens successfully completed their educational journey in the Green Academy, positioning themselves for logistics careers within Green Worldwide Shipping. Their dedication, hard work, and diverse experiences across various departments have equipped them with a comprehensive understanding of global freight forwarding.
A TO Z LOGISTICS
Inspired by the traditional European apprenticeship model, the Green Academy was designed to captivate the enthusiasm of aspiring individuals considering a career in logistics. Green Worldwide Shipping recognized the critical importance of providing these talents with hands-on, A-to-Z supply chain experience, enabling them to embark on their logistics careers with utmost confidence. Through rotations across multiple business segments, Kat and Keyla gained invaluable insights and practical knowledge, emerging as well-rounded logistics professionals.

For example, in addition to their business segment rotations, they were tasked with individual supply chain projects, which were presented to Green Worldwide Shipping’s Executives. It has been remarkable to watch the growth of our graduates throughout their two-years in the academy. To commemorate this significant achievement, Thomas Jorgensen, President and CEO of Green Worldwide Shipping, accompanied by the Executive team, had the honor of presenting Katarina and Keyla with their official Academy Completion certificates. This special ceremony served as the perfect culmination of Green’s two-day summit held in Atlanta, GA. The summit not only provided an exceptional platform for all apprentices to showcase their projects to the executive team but also facilitated team-building exercises, networking opportunities, and educational activities.
