THE CHALLENGE
Our board game client needed an urgent shipment of 40,000 kg product fulfill a holiday order for two monolithic clients, Walmart and Target. Understanding that a late delivery would equate to a complete loss for our client, Green freight experts needed to find airfreight space in a tight seasonal market, within a limited timeframe, without delaying the shipment.
THE SOLUTION
To reach the delivery deadline and maximize space, Green booked 15,000 kg of the cargo on a direct flight to Seattle while the remaining 25,000 kg were routed over three consecutive flights into Los Angeles International Airport. As the cargo arrived in LAX in the middle of the night, it was pre-cleared, covering all terminal charges, and loaded into two trucks with team drivers that ran straight shots directly to the delivery distribution centers. The result, 22,000 board games were delivered ahead of schedule in time to hit the shelves for Christmas.
