GERMAN GROCERY STORE GAINS COLD CHAIN PARTNER

INDUSTRY: FOOD & BEVERAGE
MODE OF TRANSPORT: REEFER, OCEAN EXPORT
ROUTE: USA TO GERMANY
THE CLIENT

A German distributor and grocery chain specializing in vegan food products.

THE SERVICE

Through our network of cold chain warehousing options, Green Worldwide Shipping facilitated the collection and delivery of chilled & frozen produce from suppliers all over the U.S., such as Norfolk, Houston, Los Angeles, and Seattle, to our client in Germany.

THE RESULT

After successfully procuring several reefer containers to fit the order, Green utilized German agent partnership to maintain costs along the route to delivery.  Coordinating between trucking legs, warehousing, and carriers for this run meant quick, time-critical instructions had to be issued to ensure a smooth process.

Along the journey, a port strike in California caused Green to pivot, moving product form Los Angeles to Houston, Texas, avoiding delays. With all FDA certification and documentation ready, the cargo was able to meet all EU standards and enter Germany. Fulfilling every deadline requirement, we are grateful for recurring, multi-year business from our German customer.

At Green Worldwide Shipping we believe in going above and beyond for our clients because that’s the Green Way– and how we keep delivering exceptional shipping experiences for every customer, every shipment, every time.

BOTTOM LINE, WE SPEAK FREIGHT.  ISN’T IT TIME TO MOVE FREIGHT FORWARD?
