GREEN WORLDWIDE SHARES SUSTAINABILITY VISION AT AVIATION LOGISTICS NETWORK ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Green Worldwide recently attended the first in-person Annual General Meeting of the Aviation Logistics Network held in 3 years. Reconnecting with fellow members from around the globe to discuss aviation logistics trends and innovations was inspiring and productive.

Peter Aaro-Hansen, Green Worldwide Shipping’s Chief Commercial Officer, discussed the importance of creating sustainable aviation logistics initiatives, aviation technology trends, and partnerships with fellow members. Joining him at the event was Troy Rybandt, Director of Operations – Time Critical Services, and Maria Davidou Key Accounts Manager – Time Critical Services.

ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION

Green Worldwide’s Peter Aaro-Hansen also serves as Regional Director for ALN with a focus on sustainability. Aaro-Hansen presented his vision for developing a greener, more sustainable supply chain through ISO 14001 certification. ISO 14001 is an international standard that outlines requirements for an environmental management system.

The goal of ISO 14001 certification is to provide organizations with a strategic plan for improving their environmental performance by reducing waste and using resources more efficiently. The Aviation Logistics Network recently celebrated attaining ISO 14001 certification.
