Thomas Jorgensen began his career in shipping with Maersk Line in 1989 in Denmark after studying economics at Aarhus University. Thomas moved to the United States via Boston in 1991 to work for a global forwarder, and in 1994 relocated to Atlanta to start up the U.S. operations of a Scandinavian NVO. After earning a partnership as President for this global forwarder, Jorgensen later founded and became the President and CEO of Green Worldwide Shipping®.
